helt siden den gangen chrysler dogde og plimouth gikk sammen og skapte mopar, så har alle de produsentene hatt tilgang til hemi`en. men det er stort sett dogde som har laget hemi`ene,selv om plimouth har brukt den litt.men i de siste årene har crhysler lånt teknologien(kjøpt hemi motorne sine fra dogde). Chrysler har aldri bygget hemi`en selv. noen mener mopar har skiftet navn til chrysler,men mopar er fremdeles mopar. Chrysler har aldri vært noe særlig på høyeffekt motorer.
det nærmeste mopar kommer til hemi`en,er 440 magnum. og den råeste hemi`en som ever er bygget, er 426 hemi, en av fire hemi modeller som er laget..
